Parking Lot Safety Tips
- · Always scan left to right. Why? Because we read that way and we are conditioned to take in information that way.
- · Put your phone away and look!
- · Park in a well-lit area.
- · Approach your car with caution. Look around and underneath. In NYC, people hide under cars and slice the Achilles tendons of people when they are getting in their cars. Crazy!
- · Always have your keys out and hold them with a key sticking out your fingers.
- · Pepper spray is a good idea...but only if you can get to it!
Self-Defense Demo
- Your instructors show self defense in action- If you are speaking with women it is always a good idea to have a female demonstrate so they can relate
Final Message
- · There is no confidence like self-defense confidence (Ken Shamrock)
- · Repetition is the mother of skill. We need spirited repetition, scenario training to develop skill and muscle memory.
