PG 1-2-3 (Progress and Goals Check)

An improved way to executing the old 2-4-6 week call procedure. Do them in person. Take your time. Build value. The most important person in the world to your student is themselves. Make them feel special and they'll be with you for years to come. Focus on the fact that you teach a certain style of martial art and they'll be gone in a blink of an eye!

It is absolutely critical that you establish a strong relationship with the parents of a new student and with your new adult students. You have to get them to buy into the vision! Be sure to jot down in your calendar when a PG is due for each and every student to reinforce in their minds that they made a great decision by joining your program.  By week 6 their experience should have been so positive that they are ready to make the commitment to the goal of becoming a black belt champion!  Remember, it's your job as a teacher to educate, motivate and inspire them to live the black belt lifestyle.
